What can predictive data tell us about crimes and perpetrators? Science philosopher Ton Derksen, best known for his involvement in the Lucia de Berk case, explains the consequences of misinterpreting data. Together with law philosopher Derk Venema, he will explain the possible implications of incorporating predictive data and algorithms into our legal system, based on the film Pre-Crime.
