The Farthest

Voyager is the most audacious project in human history and one of the greatest successes of humankind. Voyager 1 and 2, now more than 19 billion kilometres away, are the first man-made objects to reach interstellar space. Through a collection of interviews, animations and never-before-seen archival footage, The Farthest is a celebration of the golden age of curiosity, exploration and the will to look up at the sky and ask, “Why not?” 

Maarten Roos researched the planets in our solar system. He did this using data which was sent back by the Voyager space probe. Nowadays he produces films and he’s aiming his camera towards the stars.
